A charity bazaar in Curitiba features seized electronics with discounts up to 50%, with proceeds going to support a local elderly care facility.
A charity event organized by the philanthropic institution Socorro aos Necessitados is being held in Curitiba on December 13 and 14, featuring a bazaar where goods seized by the Federal Revenue are being sold. Products for sale include electronic items such as mobile phones, speakers, and popular gaming consoles like the Playstation 5, all offered at discounts of up to 50%. The event has a limited capacity, with 350 entry tickets available each day.
The proceeds from the bazaar will be directed towards the maintenance of the Lar dos Idosos do Tarumã, a care home that currently supports 120 elderly individuals. This initiative not only provides quality products at reduced prices but also serves a greater purpose by contributing to the welfare of seniors in the community. Entry to the event is restricted to individuals over the age of 18, and each ticket costs R$ 5, which goes to the philanthropic institution.
Participants can purchase items with a spending limit of R$ 2,500 per person, ensuring that the bazaar remains accessible and encouraging community involvement. The sale will take place at Rua Konrad Adenauer, 576, Tarumã neighborhood, from 9 AM to 5 PM, reinforcing the community spirit while assisting those in need through cleverly recirculated goods that were once unclaimed.
