Co-financing of up to 20,000 euros available for cultural projects in Daugavpils
The Daugavpils municipality has announced a project competition offering co-financing of up to 20,000 euros to support cultural initiatives that enhance the city's recognition.
The Daugavpils municipality in Latvia has launched a project competition titled "Co-financing for the Development and Implementation of Cultural Products that Enhance the City's Recognition." This initiative allows eligible applicants to receive up to 20,000 euros in support for various cultural projects, including visual and cinematic arts events, exhibitions, solo exhibitions, international exhibition programs, and other professional art projects. The aim is to create and promote cultural products that enhance the visibility and cultural image of Daugavpils.
The competition is open to private entities that have been registered no later than 24 months before the submission date. The municipality encourages submissions from legal entities until March 6, giving them the opportunity to outline projects that not only take place within Daugavpils but also contribute to strengthening the cultural image of the city through initiatives outside its borders. Each project can receive co-financing of up to 20,000 euros, covering no more than 70% of the total project budget.
This funding initiative aims to stimulate cultural development in Daugavpils, encouraging creative collaborations, events, and programs that highlight the city's artistic heritage. By providing financial support, the municipality seeks to attract diverse cultural activities and foster a greater recognition of Daugavpils as a vibrant cultural hub.
