This "Maxima" store will temporarily close its doors: starts liquidation sale

A popular Maxima store in Klaipėda will temporarily close for renovations, beginning a liquidation sale immediately.

One of Klaipėda's well-loved shopping destinations, the three X "Maxima" store located in the "BIG" shopping center, is set to temporarily close its doors starting February 16 for nearly four months. This closure is part of a broader renovation project aimed at standardizing the store's formats, an effort initiated back in 2021. The store, which attracts both locals and visitors, will undergo significant upgrades to modernize its facilities and expand the self-service checkout area, providing customers with a more extensive range of fresh food products.

Snieguolė Valiaugaitė, the director of the Communications and Corporate Relations Department at Maxima, emphasized the importance of this renovation in enhancing the shopping experience for customers. The revamped store is expected to reopen in mid-June, offering improved services and facilities tailored to meet contemporary shopper needs. In the meantime, customers are encouraged to visit the nearest three X "Maxima" store located in the "Akropolis" shopping center at Taikos pr. 61 to continue their shopping.

Additionally, starting from February 10, Maxima has initiated a liquidation sale as part of the closure process. This sale will allow customers to take advantage of discounts on various products before the store's renovation commences. The company's proactive communication strategy aims to ensure that customers are well-informed about the changes, facilitating a smooth transition during this period of temporary closure and renovation.
