Anett Liisa Parts secured her third gold medal at the Youth European Championships held in Luleå, Sweden, in the ski orienteering event. She achieved an impressive finishing time of 49.52 seconds, after initially trailing behind Swedish competitor Sigrid Ohlsson, who led the race until the penultimate checkpoint. Ohlsson made a crucial mistake in her route choice, which led to her dropping to second place, ultimately finishing 33 seconds behind Parts. Anna Hauser from Austria took the bronze medal with a time lag of 2.03 minutes.

Parts expressed great satisfaction with her performance, mentioning that both speedy skiing and the right route choices were decisive in her victory. Despite making a couple of poor route selections, she managed to excel in the physically demanding final part of the race, which she credited for helping her achieve first place. Parts noted that the race was particularly challenging, but she felt good throughout the competition and gave it her all. After three days of competing, she experienced fatigue but remained thrilled with her results.
