Latvian athletes Anete Tukiša and Alise Dvarišķe achieved remarkable performances at the European Youth Shooting Championship, earning silver medals in their respective events. Tukiša showcased her skills in the U-18 championship in the 'Solo' discipline by achieving the second-best qualifying score, which propelled her into the final. In a closely contested final match, she narrowly lost to Hungary's Abigél Hegedüs with a score of 13:14. Meanwhile, Dvarišķe excelled in the classical shooting event, finishing in second place with a total of 378 points, demonstrating her prowess against a competitive field. In addition to Tukiša and Dvarišķe's achievements, other Latvian competitors also participated and delivered commendable performances. Kristiāna Agule placed eighth with 375 points in the classical event, while Dvarišķe ranked 21st in the 'Solo' category. Ieva Pēpule, competing in the U-16 category, finished tenth in her event, and Linards Dvarišķis placed 14th in the youth competition.
