Three drug trafficking suspects are arrested in Tactical Force action in Macapá
Three men suspected of drug trafficking were arrested in Macapá during a police operation.
On Sunday, three men were arrested in separate drug trafficking incidents in Macapá, Brazil, as part of a police operation conducted by the Tactical Force Battalion of the Military Police of Amapá. Two arrests occurred in the South Zone and one in the North Zone of the city. In total, law enforcement officials seized 113 portions of illegal drugs, including marijuana, crack, and cocaine, along with cash and equipment typically used in drug sales, such as precision scales.
The first arrest took place in the Congós neighborhood, where police apprehended a 22-year-old man with 39 portions of crack and cocaine after receiving a tip-off about drug sales in the area. He was found in possession of R$ 189 in cash and was taken to the Integrated Operations Center in Pacoval. The second arrest occurred in the Sol Nascente neighborhood, where another 22-year-old suspect tried to flee but was caught by the police, resulting in the confiscation of 23 portions of marijuana and 35 portions of crack, along with a precision scale.
These arrests highlight ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking, particularly in neighborhoods where such activities are prevalent.
