Suspect dies in police confrontation in a forested area in the southern zone of Macapá

Soon after, authorities were notified that a man had arrived at a local health unit with a gunshot wound to the neck, raising suspicions that he may be connected to the earlier confrontation. Upon confirmation at the healthcare facility, it was established that he was the same suspect who had been involved in the shootout.
Tragically, the injured man succumbed to his injuries while under medical care. Authorities also discovered several drug packets in his possession, indicating his involvement in illicit activities.
