Navios: Received the new Aframax/LR2 "Nave Anthos"

Navios Maritime Partners L.P. announced the receipt of "Nave Anthos", a newly built Aframax/LR2 product tanker designed to enhance energy efficiency and environmental performance.

Navios Maritime Partners L.P., a company owned by Angeliki Frangou, has recently taken delivery of the "Nave Anthos", a new Aframax/LR2 product tanker with a capacity of 116,998 deadweight tons (dwt) and built in 2026. The tanker is designed to be LNG and methanol ready, as well as equipped for Alternative Maritime Power, showcasing the company's commitment to modern maritime technologies. It also incorporates Framo pumps and environmentally friendly technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency and safety, aligning with the group's decarbonization strategy.

The announcement highlights Navios's position in the global shipping industry, where it actively manages a diverse fleet of vessels. Currently, the company operates a fleet of 172 ships, which have a total carrying capacity exceeding 15 million dwt and 287,243 TEU, with an average age of 9.7 years.
