The morning brought severe cold across various cities, with Klaipėda recording -14 degrees, Vilnius at -18 degrees, Kaunas at -16 degrees, and both Šiauliai and Alytus peaking at -20 degrees Celsius.
As the weather conditions are dominated by a central anticyclone, the forecast indicated minimal cloud cover with no snowfall expected. Winds will be light, coming from the southern direction, and daytime temperatures are projected to range between -6 and -11 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are anticipated for Tuesday night, with temperatures potentially dropping to between -18 and -23 degrees Celsius in some areas.
