Upon arrival, medical teams were able to reach two of the skiers quickly, but they regrettably confirmed the fatalities of two individuals while the third skier required urgent medical attention. The third person was later discovered buried beneath the snow, necessitating a specialized extraction operation involving members of the Fire Brigade's SAF unit, who were flown in to assist in the rescue efforts.
