Kyung Hee Cyber University, led by President Byun Chang-gu, has been awarded first place in the cyber university category of the Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) for the eleventh consecutive year, retaining its status as a 'Golden Brand.' The K-BPI, introduced by the Korean Management Association Consulting (KMAC), evaluates brand competitiveness based on consumer perceptions and is noted as the first brand assessment model in the country. The assessment process involves interviews with over 13,000 participants to select representative brands by industry each year.

In this latest K-BPI assessment, Kyung Hee Cyber University received the highest ratings in all categories pertaining to brand awareness and loyalty. The university surpassed its competitors significantly in various awareness indicators, including familiarity and recognition, and achieved top ratings in brand loyalty elements such as image, accessibility, and preference. The K-BPI overall score showed a notable gap compared to other cyber universities, confirming its strong leadership in this market segment.

The 'Golden Brand' designation represents the highest accolade awarded only to a select few brands that have maintained first place in their industry category for over ten years within approximately 240 industries assessed by the K-BPI. Founded in 2001, Kyung Hee Cyber University has produced over 50,000 graduates in its 25 years, emerging as a leading online higher education institution in Korea.
