Correios opens applications for young apprentice with reserve registration in the South of Rio
Correios has opened applications for a young apprentice program in the South of Rio de Janeiro, focusing on creating a reserve list for future job opportunities.
Correios, the Brazilian postal service, has launched applications for its young apprentice program specifically for students in the South of Rio de Janeiro. The program allows candidates to join a reserve list, from which students will be called upon as needed by the company. This initiative is aimed at providing employment opportunities for young people who are currently pursuing or have completed their high school education.
The application process is free and must be completed online through the official Correios website, open from midnight on April 23 until 11:59 PM on April 11, as per Brasília time. The reserve list will cover several municipalities in the region, including Angra dos Reis, Barra do Piraí, and Volta Redonda, among others. This initiative highlights the importance of engaging youth and providing them with work experience in a structured environment.
The working hours for the program consist of a total of 20 hours per week, distributed as four hours each day. Compensation for the apprentice roles will align with the minimum hourly wage, which encourages participation from economically disadvantaged students while offering them valuable training and work exposure.
