The Vale do Paraíba region offers 516 internship and young apprentice positions, with a major recruitment event taking place today across Brazil.

The Center for Integration of Company-School (CIEE) is hosting a recruitment marathon today, providing 516 open positions for internships and young apprentices in the Vale do Paraíba region of Brazil. This initiative is part of a nationwide event aimed at connecting job seekers with potential employers, and it highlights the need for young talent in various sectors, especially as the country seeks to enhance job opportunities for youth.

Of the 516 positions available in the Vale do Paraíba, 417 are internships and 99 are for young apprentices. The majority of the internship vacancies are located in São José dos Campos, which has 388 spots available, while Taubaté offers 29 internship positions. For young apprentices, São José dos Campos has 85 slots, and Taubaté has 14. The opportunities are targeted at young individuals aged 14 to 24; applicants for internships must be at least 16 years old and enrolled in schooling at various levels, whereas there is no upper age limit for those with disabilities.

Participants are required to attend one of the designated units in person, bringing identification documents. The fact that this event takes place at more than 90 locations across Brazil underlines the commitment to expanding access to employment for youth and reflects broader governmental efforts to tackle high youth unemployment rates in the country. Such initiatives not only benefit young job seekers but also provide companies with access to fresh talent, fostering economic growth in the region and beyond.
