The Elephant Sanctuary Brazil (SEB), situated in Chapada dos Guimarães, Mato Grosso, serves as a refuge for Asian elephants who previously endured lives in captivity, such as circuses or zoos. During a recent visit by Folha, the sanctuary's inhabitants, female elephants Maia, Guillermina, and Bambi, were seen receiving care from dedicated keepers while enjoying the freedom of their spacious environment.
