A man in his twenties was stabbed at home and transported to the hospital; the suspect fled the scene in Fukuoka City

A young man was stabbed at a residential location in Fukuoka City and is currently hospitalized while the assailant has fled the scene.

On the morning of the 22nd, a report came in from a young man in his twenties who stated he had been stabbed in the left side and called emergency services in Fukuoka City. According to the Fukuoka Prefectural Police, the victim was conscious when transported to the hospital. It is believed that the attacker was also in his twenties, and he fled the scene armed with a knife-like weapon. The police are pursuing the suspect on charges of attempted murder.

Witnesses include a young woman in her twenties and her three children who were present at the scene. However, besides the man taken to the hospital, no other injuries were reported. The police noted that the woman was acquainted with both the victim and the fleeing suspect. The man had been called to the location by the assailant and mentioned that he was stabbed during a dispute, indicating a personal conflict may have led to the violence.

The police have described the suspect as approximately 175 cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair, wearing gray clothing. As the investigation continues, authorities are actively seeking information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspect, amid concerns regarding the safety of local residents in the wake of this violent incident.
