Now is the time to enjoy the spring warmth

Spring warmth and sunshine are gracing all of Finland on Sunday, with temperatures ranging widely from 8 to 12 degrees Celsius.

Finland is experiencing a delightful spring day this Sunday, with pleasant temperatures between 8 to 12 degrees Celsius across the country. According to meteorologist Hannu Valta from the Finnish Meteorological Institute, the conditions are characterized by low wind and sun, contributing to a notably mild atmosphere. The warmest areas are expected to be around Lahti, Utti, and Lappeenranta, where temperatures could reach the upper limit of 12 degrees.

In contrast, the western and southern coastal regions may not experience such high temperatures due to winds from the sea, which cool the air. Nevertheless, even northern Finland will enjoy sunny conditions with temperatures ranging from 6 to 8 degrees Celsius in Lapland. Notably, the previous day, a temperature over ten degrees was recorded in Pellon, highlighting the warmth for this time of year.

As the weather varies throughout the country, central parts of Finland are experiencing cloudier skies but still see temperatures rising to 7 to 8 degrees. Even with the cloudy conditions, the warmth is still significant for the season, providing residents across Finland an opportunity to embrace and enjoy the pleasant spring weather as it unfolds.
