In a concerning incident at Terminal Umuarama in Uberlândia, a 52-year-old man was injured after he fell from the platform and was subsequently run over by a bus. The incident occurred as the passenger was waiting on the platform when he lost his balance as the vehicle passed by. Witnesses noted that the man appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Emergency services, including the Fire Department, responded swiftly to the scene. The man sustained abrasions on his face and on his lower limbs but was reported to be conscious and responsive during medical assistance. After receiving initial care, he was transported to the Unidade de Atendimento Integrado (UAI) in the Tibery neighborhood for further treatment.

The bus involved was operating on route T123, which connects Terminal Umuarama to the Central Terminal. Efforts are ongoing to gather more information from both the terminal's administration and the bus company regarding the procedures followed during the unfortunate accident.
