Three people are injured after a car spins on the track and hits trees on the MGC-122

Three individuals were injured when their car lost control, spun off the MGC-122 highway in Brazil, and collided with trees.

On Friday, three people sustained injuries when their vehicle crashed into trees along the MGC-122 highway in Janaúba, located in Northern Minas Gerais, Brazil. The incident occurred while they were traveling towards Capitão Enéas. According to the driver, he moved the car towards the roadside and, upon attempting to re-enter the lane, lost control. The vehicle spun multiple times, veering off the road before hitting several trees.

Bystanders at the scene quickly intervened, helping to extricate the victims from the wreckage prior to the arrival of emergency services from the Fire Department and SAMU. Following initial medical attention, the driver and two passengers were transported to a local hospital in Janaúba, with one passenger suspected of having a femur fracture. A fourth occupant, a 27-year-old man, escaped unharmed and chose not to seek hospital care.

The police reported that the driver underwent an alcohol breath test which indicated no alcohol consumption. This incident highlights the risks associated with loss of vehicle control on highways and calls for increased awareness regarding safe driving practices, particularly in challenging roadway conditions.
