Next edition of Assembly in Action is already defined; project may expand to the interior of PI
The next installment of the 'Assembly in Action' project will take place in Teresina, with plans for expansion into the interior of the state.
Teresina is set to host the fourth edition of the 'Assembly in Action' project, according to Severo Eulálio, president of the Legislative Assembly of Piauí (Alepi). The initiative, which aims to connect the local population with the legislative body, will be offering over 80 services in collaboration with various partners at a community event. Eulálio emphasized the importance of bringing these services closer to the citizens, who often lack the time to access them due to their busy lives.
The project has already successfully served thousands of residents with its various offerings, highlighting the positive impact of such initiatives on community engagement. Attendees not only benefited from practical services but also enjoyed entertainment provided by four local artists, further enhancing the festive atmosphere of the event. Eulálio expressed confidence in the project's success and indicated that there is strong public demand for further editions, particularly in rural areas of Piauí.
As the project continues to evolve, it has the potential to significantly improve citizens' access to legislative services and foster a deeper connection between the government and the populace. The expansion into the interior of the state suggests a commitment to inclusivity and broader outreach, ensuring that residents throughout Piauí can engage with their legislative representatives and access necessary services more conveniently.
