The Mercado Iaô, a well-known multicultural event in the City of Lower Salvador, will host a special edition on March 29th in celebration of the city’s anniversary. This event will take place at the Cultural Factory in Ribeira from 10 AM to 10 PM, with free entry upon the donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food. It invites locals to participate in this significant occasion characterized by unity and charity, highlighting the community spirit of Salvador.
The event will feature more than 150 creative entrepreneurs showcasing their work across various sectors including fashion, handicrafts, design, gastronomy, and self-care. Interested creative entrepreneurs can register to participate until the upcoming Saturday, March 21st, exclusively online. This initiative aims to increase income opportunities while strengthening small and medium businesses in Salvador, and across other regions of Bahia, ensuring that economic growth can thrive in the creative economy sector.
