The Salvador Gastronomy festival, an official culinary event in the city, is set to run from October 5 to 8, from 3 PM to 9 PM, with free entry in the Historic Center of Salvador. The festival aims to showcase local chefs and to promote an open-air market experience, along with performances during sunset at various locations including Praça Tomé de Souza and the surrounding area of Palacete TiraChapéu.
Designed to enhance the Historic Center's reputation as a hub for cultural and culinary experiences, the festival will feature shows and DJ sets from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This schedule aims to create a pleasant atmosphere that encourages visitors to stay until the early evening, enjoying the transition of natural light while exploring the diverse culinary offerings.
With participation from various restaurants that highlight the contemporary culinary narratives of the city, the festival includes notable participants such as Taste of Transitions, Casarìa, Pala7, Preta, Di Janela, Carvão, Gelato Luce, Divino Pãozito, and Manga Mai.
