The Ministry of Education (MEC) in Brazil has recently approved the establishment of a new campus for the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) in Diamantino, located 209 kilometers from Cuiabá. This announcement was made during a meeting held in Brasília, where the Minister of Education Camilo Santana met with the university's rector Marluce Silva and the mayor of Diamantino, Chico Mendes. The new campus is expected to support educational growth in the region.
