Launch of the 59th Parintins Festival: check traffic details and prohibited items at the Bumbódromo
The official launch of the 59th Parintins Folklore Festival is set for this Friday, featuring performances from local artists and a specific traffic plan.
The 59th Parintins Folklore Festival is officially launching on Friday, July 20, with doors opening at 6 PM at the Bumbódromo. This year's festival will highlight performances from the bodes (bois) Caprichoso and Garantido, alongside shows by national artists Simone Mendes and Klessinha. The event is expected to attract around 20,000 attendees, including fans, artists, and technical teams, and there is a planned traffic scheme to manage the large crowd attending the festival.
Attendees will enter through designated lines on Batucada and Marujada streets, without prior distribution of wristbands. The Bumbódromo will feature a 500-square-meter stage, decorative modules, and approximately 200 meters of video LED panels. Additional large screens will be placed throughout the arena and in the Praça dos Bois area to enhance the viewing experience for festival-goers.
In preparation for the event, the State Department of Transit of Amazonas (Detran-AM) has communicated that traffic around the Bumbódromo will be adjusted to accommodate the influx of attendees. The regulations will also include a list of prohibited items to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants during this vibrant celebration of folkloric traditions in Brazil.
