With Simone Mendes concert, the launch of the 2026 Parintins Festival will have free admission
The 2026 Parintins Festival launch will feature a free concert by Simone Mendes and is expected to attract about 20,000 attendees.
The official launch of the 59th Parintins Festival is set to take place at Bumbódromo on Friday, with free entry for all attendees. Gates will open at 6 PM, and the program will kick off at 9 PM with a concert by renowned singer Simone Mendes. Following her performance, traditional participants, the Caprichoso and Garantido teams, will showcase a full exhibition of their cultural elements, culminating with a closing act by Klessinha.
The organizers aim to gather approximately 20,000 individuals, including fans, artists, and technical staff, emphasizing the importance of a well-structured event. To ensure both safety and organization, the event will benefit from the coordinated efforts of various state agencies, providing necessary security and public health services throughout the festival.
This year's festival is expected to continue the tradition of celebrating the cultural heritage of the Amazon region. The free entry policy allows for wider community participation, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in the arts. This event not only entertains but also fosters community ties and showcases the unique cultural expressions of the region, making it a significant highlight on Brazil's cultural calendar.
