On the morning of Friday, the 20th, a car transporting 30 packages of a substance similar to cocaine was intercepted by law enforcement on the Alça Viária highway in Pará, Brazil. The operation was conducted by the State Narcotics Division (Denarc), which had been monitoring the area following a tip-off about a white vehicle heading towards Belém allegedly carrying illegal drugs. Police teams were strategically positioned along the highway to carry out the interception.

As a result, police formed teams that positioned themselves along the highway to prepare for the vehicle's approach. Delegado Davi Cordeiro, head of Denarc, stated that once the car was identified, police began tracking it. However, the driver failed to comply with the stop command and veered off onto a rural road, prompting a brief chase.

After a short pursuit, the driver abandoned the vehicle, leaving behind the narcotics. This interception reflects ongoing efforts by Brazilian authorities to combat drug trafficking in the region.
