In a significant drug bust, the Polícia Militar Rodoviária (Military Highway Police) and the Tactical Road Policing Team (Tático Ostensivo Rodoviário - TOR) have seized 300 kilograms of cocaine from a pickup truck on the Washington Luís Highway (SP-310) in Araraquara, São Paulo. This operation occurred on Thursday, the 19th, where authorities apprehended the driver on the spot for drug trafficking following a well-coordinated intelligence operation backed by the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco) of the Federal Police.
During the routine inspection, police discovered 10 bales containing 30 blocks of cocaine, worth over R$ 100,000.
