In Gopalganj district, Bihar, police uncovered a significant operation involving immoral acts disguised as an orchestra. Under the guidance of SP Vinay Tiwari, a joint team of police and local NGOs conducted a raid on multiple residential complexes associated with the orchestra. This operation revealed distressing activities including the exploitation of minors for illicit performances.
During the raid, ten minors from various states including West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, as well as from Bihar's Siwan and Jehanabad districts were rescued. The police also apprehended three individuals, including two female operators, suggesting a broader network of exploitation. The minors were found in conditions that raise serious concerns about their safety and well-being.
Following the rescue, all the minors were sent to a juvenile correction home for their protection. The incident has opened up discussions on the need for stricter regulations and monitoring of such entertainment activities to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable individuals.
