The municipality of Extrema, located in Brazil, has made a significant investment of R$15 million to upgrade its school transportation system by acquiring 30 new vehicles, which include both vans and buses. This renewal of the fleet aligns with Extrema's commitment to bolster education as the new academic year approaches. With 24 vans and 6 buses acquired, the initiative aims to efficiently transport nearly 8,000 students enrolled in the municipal education system, serving both urban areas and rural regions, as well as university students attending institutions in Extrema and neighboring cities.

The newly purchased vans are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and modern infrastructure, designed to enhance both safety and comfort for student travelers. Features such as air conditioning, electric doors, and comfortable seating are integral to the new fleet, reflecting a commitment to provide high-quality and secure daily transportation for students. The buses can accommodate 44 seated students, while the vans have a capacity ranging from 9 to 19 passengers, significantly improving the logistics of transporting students to and from school.

In a notable aspect of this investment, four of the newly acquired vans are specifically adapted to support inclusive education by accommodating students with special needs.
