Trailers collide and cause a truck loaded with oranges to overturn on the Bandeirantes Highway

A collision involving two trailers and a truck on the Bandeirantes Highway in Jundiaí resulted in one truck overturning and spilling its load of oranges, but no injuries were reported.

On the night of Thursday, October 19, a traffic accident occurred on the SP-348 Bandeirantes Highway in Jundiaí, São Paulo, involving two trailers and a truck carrying oranges. The incident began when a driver lost control of one trailer, leading to a collision with another trailer. The impact subsequently caused the driver of the truck, transporting oranges, to also lose control, resulting in the truck overturning and spilling its load across the highway.

The accident led to the closure of the highway for emergency services to attend to the scene. Motorists experienced significant congestion, with traffic backed up for three kilometers between kilometers 53 and 50. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the collision, allowing emergency services to focus solely on clearing the wreckage and managing traffic flow.

This incident highlights the risks associated with heavy vehicle transport and the potential for traffic disruptions in such cases. While no one was harmed, the rapid response by local authorities was crucial in minimizing delays and restoring normal traffic conditions, which were achieved by 3:33 AM the following morning.
