According to the AutoBan, the administrator of the road, the accident happened while vehicles were moving towards the interior of São Paulo. One of the individuals riding the motorcycle was reported to have sustained moderate injuries, while the other two people involved, an occupant of the motorcycle and a car passenger, suffered minor injuries. Following the incident, all injured parties were transported to Santa Casa de Valinhos for medical attention.

The Military Road Police indicated that slow traffic was already present in the area prior to the collision, attributed to emergency asphalt repair works. This situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by road authorities in managing traffic safely during maintenance activities, raising concerns over the promptness of responses in accident-prone zones, especially when accompanied by simultaneous roadworks.
