On Friday morning, two suspects were arrested in connection with a double homicide that occurred at Praia do Abaís in Estância, Brazil. The arrests were carried out by the Civil Police, specifically by the Regional Delegacy of Estância and the Division of Homicides and Protection to Persons (DHPP). The crime took place on the previous Wednesday while the victims were inside a vehicle, highlighting the ongoing issue of violence in the region.

One of the suspects has been identified as Josevaldo Silva dos Santos, known as Tiruliu, who had previously been wanted for armed robbery and homicide. During the police action, authorities confiscated a firearm, a motorcycle, and various materials linked to the criminal act. Notably, a cloned license plate was recovered, which had been used to evade identification of the vehicle, discovered discarded at Praia da Caueira in Itaporanga D'Ajuda.

The success of the operation is attributed to the continuous efforts of police teams, who worked diligently to bring the suspects into custody.
