The Civil Police of Sergipe has identified Josevaldo Silva dos Santos, who goes by the name Tiruliu, as a suspect in the murder of two men at Praia do Abaís. This announcement was made on Thursday, along with images of the suspect released to the public. The police confirm that Tiruliu already has an outstanding arrest warrant and is considered a fugitive due to other serious crimes, including armed robbery and homicide.

According to the Department of Homicides and Protection of the Person (DHPP), another individual is also believed to be involved in the criminal act. Reports indicate that the two suspects arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on the victims while they were in their vehicle, which was parked near a construction site. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of the two men, who were shot inside a Toyota/Hilux.

The Civil Police have emphasized the importance of public assistance in gathering any information about Tiruliu and his accomplice, urging citizens to come forward with tips that could aid in their capture. This case has raised concerns in the community regarding safety and crime rates, particularly in the area of Estância, where such violent incidents are not uncommon.
