On the afternoon of the 20th, a fire broke out at an automotive parts manufacturing factory in Daejeon, leading to more than 50 injuries among the workers. At the time of the incident, approximately 170 employees were inside the facility, and as of 5 PM, 14 of them remained unaccounted for, raising fears of further casualties. The local fire department responded swiftly, issuing a Level 1 response within 9 minutes of the report and a Level 2 response within 14 minutes. A considerable deployment, including 46 fire trucks, over 110 personnel, fire helicopters, and fire robots, was mobilized to combat the blaze.
