A significant fire broke out at a car parts manufacturing company in Daejeon, South Korea, on the afternoon of the 20th, putting multiple lives at risk and complicating rescue efforts due to structural concerns. The affected establishment did not have mandatory sprinkler installations across the entire facility, with only a few required in specific areas. The operational status of these systems during the incident has yet to be confirmed.
