Taxpayers who choose to utilize the software can start filling out their income declarations ahead of the official submission time. The Receita Federal has set a deadline for income tax submissions, requiring all declarations to be submitted by 11:59 PM on May 29. This year, the income threshold obligating individuals to file a tax return is set at R$ 35,584 in taxable income for the previous year, which translates to about R$ 2,965.3 per month. This requirement aims to ensure compliance and proper tax reporting among Brazilian taxpayers.

The traditional method used by most taxpayers remains the download of the PGD (Programa Gerador da Declaração) software, which simplifies the reporting process.
