Concept, fashion, and handicrafts at AVIL parades

The AVIL parades at the Artisan Week highlight handmade creations, celebrating the artistry in crochet, macramé, and clay pieces.

The AVIL parades during the Artisan Week at Shopping Difusora aim to celebrate handmade art forms, emphasizing the creativity and talent of artisans involved in crochet, macramé, and clay works. Kicking off the events on March 30, the crochet segment showcases unique pieces by artisan and teacher Jane Vallim, created using Rayza yarns. This segment symbolizes the essence of combining creativity and craftsmanship in fashion, making it a focal point of the celebration.

Following the crochet showcase, stylist Valter Rosa will present his macramé collection, further enriching the event with artistic expressions of beauty and creativity. These parades are not only a platform for showcasing innovative designs but also a means to honor traditional crafting methods, seamlessly weaving together talent and artistry.

On April 1st, the spotlight will be on Raphael Freitas, the creative director of the Rafretá atelier, who will unveil his collection Tapirurama, which reflects the intersection of fashion and memory. His designs draw inspiration from the manual crafts of indigenous communities that once inhabited the banks of the Tracunhaém River, thus adding a layer of cultural homage to the celebration of local fashion.
