Ogun to host MSME clinic, offer grants
Ogun State is organizing its third edition of the MSME Business Clinics to provide grants and support services for small businesses.
The Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment is set to hold the third edition of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Business Clinics on March 24, 2026, at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta. This initiative is designed to bolster business growth in the state by offering grant opportunities and essential support services to entrepreneurs. It reflects the government's continued effort to enhance the business environment for small businesses in Ogun State.
Adebola Sofela, the Commissioner for Industry, Trade, and Investment, stated that the program aligns with the objectives of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration to foster an enabling environment for small enterprises to develop and succeed. By facilitating direct engagement between business owners and regulatory bodies, the clinic aims to assist entrepreneurs in navigating the challenges they face while also empowering them through knowledge and resources.
This initiative is significant as it underscores the Ogun State government’s commitment to economic development through the empowerment of small businesses. By providing platforms for interaction and access to financial support, the MSME Business Clinics aim to stimulate growth, innovation, and employment opportunities within the state, ultimately contributing to the broader economic landscape of Nigeria.
