The Ogun State Government has successfully registered a total of 1,629 Women Affinity Groups under the Nigeria for Women Programme Scale-Up, reinforcing its dedication to promoting women's economic empowerment and ensuring financial inclusion. This initiative reflects the government's strategic approach to uplift women in the region, particularly through collective support structures. The registration was confirmed during review sessions in Ijebu-Ode and Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Areas, aiming to amplify the program's outreach.

Bolanle Fadairo, the State Project Coordinator, highlighted the importance of collaboration among Local Field Supervisors and Women Affinity Group Supporting Officers during these sessions. She emphasized the critical role of real-time data monitoring in forming these groups, pointing out that 852 groups were established in Ijebu-Ode while 777 were formed in Ado-Odo/Ota.
