The Return of the Legend Challenges the 'King'! See Who is the Best Between Duster and Creta

Renault has relaunched the Duster in the Indian market, directly competing with Hyundai Creta and Tata Siera, offering new features and a discount campaign.

Renault has officially relaunched its popular SUV, the Duster, in the Indian market after discontinuing it in 2022. The new Duster faces tough competition, primarily against Hyundai's Creta and Tata's Siera. The revamped Duster includes several modern features such as a hybrid engine, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a large infotainment system, and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), while missing older versions' diesel and 4x4 options. The starting ex-showroom price for the Duster is set at ₹10.49 lakh, with a promotional discount offer under their R-pass scheme, bringing the price down to ₹10.29 lakh until March 31, 2026.

The launch of the new Duster reflects significant changes in the SUV market since its previous version, which debuted 12 years ago. The competitive landscape has shifted, with the Hyundai Creta currently dominating the segment. The Duster's reintroduction aims to capitalize on a growing consumer demand for advanced features while attempting to reclaim its previous market share. However, it remains to be seen if the new features and pricing strategy can effectively challenge the well-established Creta, which continues to lead in sales and consumer preferences.
