Among those appointed are Dr. Azeez Olasunkanmi Ojo as acting Rector, Mrs. Bukola Dairo as Registrar, Mr. Oluseyi Afolabi as Bursar, and Mr. Dare Adeleke as acting Librarian. The council clarified that these selections were made following the Polytechnic Act and in accordance with the Federal Character Commission guidelines.

Additionally, speaking on behalf of the council’s chairman Yakubu Dati, acting Director Mr. Sunday Adepoju expressed the council's commitment to conducting the appointments in a fair and responsible manner, which reflects the values of the institution.
