The Korea Baduk Association has partnered with NHN Hangame to promote Baduk content, aiming to broaden its reach, especially for children and beginners.
The Korea Baduk Association has recently entered into a partnership with NHN Hangame to enhance the accessibility of Baduk (Go) content. This collaboration was formalized at a contract signing ceremony held on the 18th of the month in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The initiative focuses on promoting Baduk content through mutual marketing efforts, specifically targeting younger audiences by utilizing game data developed for children.
One of the significant elements of this partnership is the development of the 'Legend of Baduk' game, which aims to educate children and newcomers about the game of Baduk. By providing essential gameplay foundations, the game is designed to be engaging and instructional. Last year, the global version of this educational game was launched on major app platforms, including Google Play and the Apple App Store, making it accessible to a wider audience.
The Korea Baduk Association expressed optimism about the potential of this educational game to nurture upcoming generations of Baduk players. Through online platforms, they hope to expand the reach of Baduk content and cultivate a larger community of players, ultimately contributing to the sport's growth and sustainability in the future.
