Mother Buried 3-Year-Old Daughter and Hidden Her for 6 Years

A mother is accused of abusing her 3-year-old daughter to death and burying her body six years ago, with police now seeking arrest warrants for her and her accomplice.

A 30-year-old woman, known as 'G,' is facing charges of child abuse leading to the death of her 3-year-old daughter, identified as 'D,' and is suspected of conspiring with a 30-year-old man, 'N,' to conceal the body. The police in Siheung City, South Korea, stated on the 18th that they applied for arrest warrants for both individuals based on evidence gathered during the investigation. G is accused of having committed the fatal abuse in February 2020, while living in an apartment in Jeongwang-dong, and the circumstances surrounding the death of her daughter, who was found wrapped in a blanket, are under further police scrutiny.

In a shocking revelation, it has come to light that following her daughter's death, G allegedly buried the child's body together with her boyfriend N in the hills of Danwon-gu, Ansan City, a few days after the incident. N is not the biological father of D. The police have started recovery operations in search of D's presumed remains, which were reportedly covered in a blanket. The situation escalated when G attempted to disguise her actions by enrolling N's niece as her 'daughter' for school. As the elementary school enrollment period approached, the school contacted G upon noticing D's absence during the January opening ceremony, leading to a deeper investigation. After reports of suspected child abuse were made by the school, police arrested G and N on the night of the 16th. They are now set to undergo a pre-arrest examination today.
