Registrations for the 'Partiu IF' program end this Tuesday
The Federal Institute of Resende in Rio de Janeiro is offering free preparatory course registrations for 9th-grade students until this Tuesday, aiming to enhance access to vocational and technological education for public school students.
The Federal Institute (IF) of Resende in Rio de Janeiro has opened registrations for a free preparatory course targeted at 9th-grade students from public schools. This initiative, known as 'Partiu IF', is designed to increase accessibility to vocational and technological education for students in public schooling, which is a critical step to bridging educational gaps in the region. The registration process includes an electronic lottery and a review of documents that confirm the applicant's socioeconomic status, public schooling background, and the authorization of a guardian.
Interested individuals must register either on the IF website or in-person at their office located at Avenida Prefeito Botafogo in Resende, with the deadline set for this Tuesday. A total of 40 positions are available for this preparatory course, which reflects the institution's commitment to supporting education among underprivileged communities. Selected students will not only gain access to the course but will also be eligible for a monthly scholarship of R$ 200, contingent on maintaining at least a 75% attendance rate.
Classes are scheduled to begin in April and will take place during the morning hours from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This program not only represents an important opportunity for local youth but also underscores the efforts made by educational institutions in Brazil to provide equal opportunities and enhance the future workforce by equipping students with essential skills and knowledge for their careers.
