Vicky Foods, a Valencian food company previously known as Dulcesol, has announced the acquisition of the iconic bakery brand Panrico from Adam Foods. While the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, it strengthens Vicky Foods' positioning in the bread market across Spain and Portugal. The acquisition includes both the brand itself and its main industrial asset, the production facility located in Gulpilhares, Portugal, which spans over 50,000 square meters and features three specialized production lines for sliced bread, with an impressive annual capacity of 21,000 tons.
In recent years, the bread category has solidified its status as Vicky Foods' leading business segment in sales volume, surpassing its pastry line since 2022.
