Party Survey: KO Strengthens its Lead, with a Clear Increase in Support for One Party

The Civic Coalition continues to lead in the polls with a slight increase in support, while the PiS party sees a decline amid shifting voter preferences in Poland.

The Civic Coalition (KO) has reinforced its position as the leading political party in Poland according to a recent IBRiS survey conducted from March 13 to 15, capturing 31.1% of respondents' support, a marginal increase of 0.2 percentage points since the last survey in December. This uptick is notable as it indicates a growing endorsement amid rising national political dynamics. Meanwhile, the Law and Justice party (PiS), led by Jarosław Kaczyński, has fallen to 24.7%, reflecting a 1 percentage point decrease, underscoring a shifting political landscape as voter sentiment evolves.

In the third position stands the Confederation, with a stable 13.6% of the votes, maintaining the same support as three months prior. The survey also reveals a noteworthy rise in support for the Confederation of Polish Crown (Konfederacja Korony Polskiej), which increased by 1.1 percentage points to reach 8.2%. This surge indicates potential realignment of political allegiances and challenges faced by traditional parties as new groups gain traction in the electorate.

Conversely, the Left party (Lewica) has seen declining support, now being overtaken by Grzegorz Braun's party in the polling figures. This shift raises questions about the Left's strategies as it competes with both growing and established political forces in Poland's evolving democratic landscape. The results signal a dynamic shift in political affiliations among voters, heralding a potentially volatile electoral season ahead.
