Urbanizations adjust their vehicle entry and exit times due to curfew
Urbanizations in Guayas, Ecuador, are modifying vehicle access hours in response to a new curfew that affects several provinces.
In response to a curfew imposed from the night of March 15 across four provinces in Ecuador, including Guayas, local private urbanizations have begun adjusting their vehicle entry and exit schedules at security checkpoints. The curfew, which lasts from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM, affects the provinces of Guayas, Los Ríos, El Oro, and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, and is set to continue until the end of March.
In urban areas such as Samborondón, La Aurora (Daule), and Guayaquil, management teams of residential complexes have informed residents that all vehicle and pedestrian access points will be completely closed during curfew hours. This closure is part of broader measures to enhance security and comply with governmental regulations aimed at addressing safety concerns in the region.
In addition to the access restrictions, urbanization administrations have recommended adjustments to daily activities; they are urging residents to conclude any personal gatherings or events before 10:00 PM and have placed limitations on nighttime food deliveries. These measures reflect a community-wide effort to comply with the curfew, ensuring the safety of residents while balancing the needs of daily life within the constraints of the measures in place.
