In response to increasing concerns over organized crime, the Ecuadorian government has established a curfew in Guayas, Los Ríos, El Oro, and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, which will take effect from 11 PM to 5 AM until March 31. This move aims to enhance security and ensure the safety of the citizens during the high-crime hours. As a result, local authorities have announced changes to the operation of various services in Guayaquil to accommodate the new curfew hours.
