On Monday, a homemade bomb was found in front of the headquarters of an organized fan association located in Downtown Maceió. The explosive device was discovered inside a pouch, and no arrests were made in connection with the incident. Authorities were alerted following an anonymous tip-off about the bomb's presence, which led to police intervention.

Officers from the Special Police Operations Battalion (Bope) promptly responded to the scene and conducted searches of the fan association's headquarters. However, aside from the homemade bomb, no other illegal materials or related items were uncovered in the premises. The police took custody of the explosive device and transported it to their headquarters, where they proceeded to disarm it safely.

This incident raises concerns about safety and security in areas associated with organized fan groups, highlighting the potential for violence linked to sports fandom.
