According to Katri Tammio, a communications expert with the Southwest Finland police, the case will be processed further for investigation on Tuesday. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver accidentally pressed the gas pedal while reaching for something in the back seat, which led to the accident.

Emergency services reported that the vehicle had been stationary at a bus stop prior to the incident, and while the collision did not involve significant speed, the window of the business was broken.
