The Eastern Finland police department is requesting tips regarding a driver who was involved in a traffic incident that occurred in Siilinjärvi. The driver struck a pedestrian while the pedestrian was crossing at a marked crosswalk. The incident took place on January 19th around 11:00 AM at the intersection of Route 5 and Kaskipellontie.

According to reports filed with the police, the car involved was a light-colored personal vehicle traveling from the south when it collided with the pedestrian.
